VINTAGE 1956 TONKA TOY LIVESTOCK VAN Model #500-6 This is a rare find and we are selling for the original owner that acquired this Tonka Livestock Van as a xmas gift from his mother back in the 1950"s when he was a child. Although he played with it, he also took care of it. As you can see from the pictures, for it's age this Tonka is in really good condition! He's now ready to part with it so we are auctioning one vintage 1956 "Tonka Toys" pressed steel truck cab with Livestock Van. This vintage beauty features a red six-wheeled cab marked "Tonka Toys Mound, Minn." on both doors with a detachable red eight-wheeled livestock closed trailer with wooden bottom. The front of the trailer is marked "Livestock" with image of a steer. Trailer also features a two-wheeled stand and swing-down door that works as a livestock ramp. Complete set measures approx. 24" in total length, is 5 3/4" wide, and approx. 8 1/2" tall. Item in good condition for it's age showing some wear to paint and oxidation.
